What the private cave is for

The private goon cave is the members side of SimpCity: extra archives and quieter threads. It is not a public mirror of the lounge, and it is not a place to skip the rules.

The same hard lines apply. You must be 18 or older. Nothing involving minors. No non-consensual intimate images. No doxxing. Staff can lock a thread in the private cave the same way they can on the public boards. The full list is the Forum Rules.

When to use it

Use the private cave when a creator thread or a longer archive would get buried in the public request board, and when the people reading it are already members. If you are new, start in the public lounge and the welcome board. Read for a while. The private side makes more sense once you know how the public cave is organized.

From this site, the rose button — Open the Private Goon Cave — is the way in. It leaves simpcity.cool and opens simpcity.es.

What it is not

• Not a backup of your account. Keep the password off the boards and off Telegram.
• Not a dumping ground for requests that were already answered in public.
• Not exempt from titles, tags, or the one-subject rule.
